Eaoae is operated by Lemon Salad Studio, which is the data controller for this site. Eaoae is a simple lookup tool, and we collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Queries you run. The item and species you check are stored so we can show the answer again and improve popular lookups. Queries aren’t linked to any account — there are no accounts.
• Basic technical data. Like most sites, our server logs see your IP address and browser type for security and abuse prevention (for example, enforcing the daily free-query limit).

Newsletter emails

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address so we can send you pet-safety tips. Emails are handled by our newsletter provider (useINBOX) and stored until you unsubscribe. Subscription confirmation emails are delivered through our email delivery provider (Resend). Every email includes an unsubscribe link; you can also ask us to delete your address at any time via [email protected].

Library reading access

To unlock a full Library book, you enter your email address so we can send you a verification link. The email is sent through our email delivery provider (Resend) and we do not store your address on our servers. If you separately tick the newsletter box, your address is added to our newsletter list as described above (handled by useINBOX) after you click the confirmation link.

What we don’t collect

No names, no pet health records. We don’t sell data to anyone, and we don’t share query logs with advertisers.

Cookies

We use a minimal cookie choice stored in your own browser (localStorage) to remember whether you accepted cookies. If we run ads in the future, ad providers may set their own cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Because we don’t hold personal accounts or profiles, there’s little to delete — but if you believe we hold personal data about you, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll sort it out.
